MY ASPIRATIONS FOR THE WORLD by Murtaza Lilwala

We all have heard about nuclear weapons, but are aware about the dangers and ethical problems associated with them? 

Most of us know what will happen when nuclear war happens. We know that they can cause huge amounts of damage as seen in World War II when America nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki but that was just the start. Now nuclear weapons are more powerful, more deadly and more sophisticated.

If a nuclear war breaks out now the world can get destroyed even after the bombing as nuclear fallout will occur which is even worse than the initial blast as nuclear bombs cause radiation at a very huge radius. This radiation is very deadly and people have to suffer greatly even people not involved in the war and if enough nukes are blasted, nuclear winter will happen which will affect the entire world.

In nuclear winter the sun will be hidden, so the world will get colder (actually a good way to fight global warming) and as the sun is covered plants will not grow and radiation will cause every living thing to die.

Now that we know about all the physical problems of nuclear war I would like to touch on the ethical problems of nuclear war. 

First of all so many people will die that aren’t even in the war or not related to it or are not able to fight back.

Secondly there will be no strategy or tactic it will be only who can hit the launch button first. We all know sometimes war is inevitable so people have to fight but people who fight need to have skill and be brave to go on the war field to fight putting their country before them but in nuclear war one person will be hiding behind a launch button waiting to press it.

Lastly when people go out for war and they see someone unable to fight back or defend themselves or not even involved in the war, they will most likely not attack but in nuclear war once a nuke has been sent, nobody will be spared.

So my biggest aspiration for the world will be that all the nuclear countries stop using nuclear weapons or refrain from using it or if the need arises they should just do nuclear war on mars and see whose blast is big.

Another desire I have for this world is to make peace between all the countries and stop racism and discrimination.

The biggest problem in this world is that because everybody has different opinions they look down on people with other opinions and this causes discrimination and racism but sometimes these thing also happen when one person doesn’t like how the other person or the religion of that person is.

Discrimination causes many people to hurt other people who may have not even done anything to anyone. Discrimination also cause people to differentiate between other people and cause them to make different groups and divide them.

So I would like to end discrimination and unite all the countries together and make them realize the strength in unity. This will also stop wars and bring peace to everybody.

Thus,in the end my aspiration for the world is just to have peace and solve many problems of people who can’t speak for themselves.

If my hopes are fulfilled and there are no wars, people who don’t have any rights and are scoffed upon will have a chance to uplift themselves and there will be less crime and people will feel safer.
