MY ASPIRATIONS FOR THE WORLD by Mustafa Salim

From the day I was able to think, I always used to wonder if the world revolved around me, my thoughts, and my dream world. And today my ability to think has grown stronger; I have understood major world problems and would like to share my aspirations for this world.

From my point of view, I see human rights as a worldwide problem. We do not notice these complications as we live in a calm, tension-free and peaceful life, but a glimpse at the world of Africa would definitely make our eyes shed tears. People around the world get ruled over because of their disabilities and disorders. Why are there different levels of respecting each human? They were born the same way as us, look like us, and even speak like us. Then why are there still beggars, sitting on the streets with their hands open to us? Are we the one causing this problem? Are we the villains here? So we need to stop thinking all about ourselves and need to think about others for a change.
Another dilemma I would like to raise up is the three-part circle or, well known as, the peace symbol. Every country, everyone wants peace but how can there be peace if we are the ones causing destruction. If only everyone could understand, everyone could see the fact that everyone can make a difference then peace would no more be a hole in the world
Lies, lies, and lies. This is how the world looks like now. Not even a single company would be alive if there weren’t lies to lure them in. I used to contemplate, how the world looked like when the concept of lying was still not brought up to mankind. It sure must have been harmonious, with the trust held on each being. Even if today, people stopped lying and started only saying the truth, their reputation would go above the roof. SO QUIT LYING AND GO TRUTH.
Earlier I talked about peace around the world, but I didn’t mention about how this dilemma could be resolved. Today, as we can see, warfare is going on between many Muslim countries. But they don’t realize that it is their own community they are wrecking about. Unity is what they are lacking. They don’t deduce that unity can resolve one of the world’s biggest problems and be the cause for more strength, more power. But they chose the hard route, to use power to conquer and gain more power, rule the world under threat rather than trust. So everyone needs to calm down, because as one said and I quote “United we stand, Divided we fall”.
Finally, I would like to talk about our very own environment. You must have noticed unless you have been living under a rock, that the world faces global warming as one of its major problems as it could cause the end of our very own world. First, let us discuss what exactly does global warming actually mean, global warming is harmful gasses being released into the atmosphere which causes it to get dense and thicker and traps the sun’s rays into the atmosphere. This causes heat all around and causes cooler places to get warmer. A great example is the melting of ice caps in the Artic.
I would like to conclude this essay and would like to say that if these quandaries are rectified, humankind could live peacefully in this very world. Why do we want to create the world which makes it a threat to us? So if everyone absorbs these solutions in their hearts and implements these in their daily life, I am sure this will lead to a harmless calm and peaceful life.
Lastly, I would like to reemphasize that if these problems are not stopped, then we may die of our own litter and if we embed these solutions, these rectifications in our lives, then definitely the world is going to be a better place to live.
