THE PERSON WHO CHANGED MY LIFE by Amatullah Numberdar

Dumb, hopeless and useless were the only words Alice knew. Alice-a small girl – studied in kg 2, Elementary school. Alice was a quiet girl with a cute, chubby face (just like a marshmallow) and blonde, silky hair. She wore a white pinafore with blue checks. Alice didn’t speak much and that is the reason nobody understood her and made fun of her.

At school Alice was really weak. In Math she just couldn’t write the number 8 right. All the teachers scolded her, guided   her   but it seemed she just couldn’t understand. After Alice left school, she would run home burst into her room and let out all her frustration with beautiful, crystal tears rolling down her plushy, little cheeks.

Fed up her mother, who was young looking and quick-witted in other words Beauty with Brains .She decided to send her to tuitions .Little did Alice know that would be the day her life was about to change.

Her tuition teacher was named Miss Saria. Saria was a beefy woman with huge arms and gigantic feet. “Hi”, she said  in a sweet little voice . That was the moment Alice knew she was going to blend in.

First few days were tough. Alice was taught lovingly by her warm- hearted teacher. Slowly Alice started to understand and the best part was that the learned while cooking for example they learned math while making lollies or English while baking cookies.

Alice now loved going to tuition .She wouldn’t miss day even for chocolate and candy (she loved chocolate and candy).

A new Alice was forming. Her life was starting to become perfect except one thing. Alice had become confident that’s true but she still hadn’t found ant friends. Her classmates still thought she was weird and creepy .They stared at her as if she was a zombie from another planet.

One day she went to tuitions with a glum face. What’s wrong honey?” asked Miss Saira.Alice explained her problem. After a few moments she said: You need to start talking to them, If you start talking to them they will know you are a little girl with a big heart.

Alice paid heed to her teacher’s advice she did exactly how miss Saria asked her to and voila! It worked! Everyone started to become her friends and in no time she was a pop celebrity all around her school.

The next day Alice went to tuitions with a bright face and beaming an enormous smile ear to ear. She told every bit of what had happened to her. Miss Saria said: I am proud of you”.

Eventually Alice had a drastic change in her academic performance. And today you won’t believe she is the third ranker of her class. Yes, you guessed it right it was ME!

P.S: This is my real life story. My teacher’s name is Mumtaz. She changed my life!
