WHY I CAN SUCCEED IN LIFE by Hatim Amin

Being successful is every man’s dream and it has always been an aim for mankind to succeed in life, yet no one has ever claimed that they have succeeded and have no more goals, no more visions.
The path to success has never been an easy one, one has to climb the far-reaching, never ending steps towards it; dodging immense obstacles; carrying loads of weight on the way but still NEVER losing hope- these are few rules if one wants to win.
The true secret behind my success is that I have the ability to accomplish phenomenal tasks and overcome enormous challenges one can barely face. This is because I manage my time and spend it wisely. I also keep away the futile distractions in my life that tempt me away from my missions. As Crystal Woods once stated, “Time flies, whether you’re wasting it or not.” So stay focused and keep everything, except your aim, out of your mind.
Steve Jobs (the founder of Apple) once shared a few facts about his life in the speech he gave at the Cambridge University. He said, “There was a time when I witnessed life as a miserable, desolated, perilous forest hiding thousands of mysteries in it. It all started when I was kicked out of Reed College in India. At that time, I had no goals in my life, it had become completely vain; I was unemployed, no institute granted me admission. Those were the most bitter moments I ever faced. I finally got an admission in a calligraphy institute for a few years. After all this what I learned was that these dark forests I face always have a path at the end. Now when I look back into my footsteps, I finally feel my accomplishment, my success. So how did this benefit me? When I created the Macintosh, it mainly became famous as it was the first computer to hold various types of fonts in it – if I hadn’t learnt calligraphy, then today no computer would have these amazing fonts in them.”
Everyone dreams but the truth is that only few achieve their dreams. Every man has a different definition of success. I myself have great visions for myself and my belief is that I can and I will accomplish it. Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it!” Somebody once told me that a dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. So I advise everyone to stay firm and never get demotivated – what so ever the circumstances may be. Always be a go-getter; your enthusiasm will become your strength in this long journey through life.
Humility is a key element in success. The trick is that when you go higher, treat the ones below you with kindness. A wise man once said, “The more you bend, the higher you reach.” On the other hand, boasting will pull you down and do you no good to you at all.
As Shiv Khera has written in his famous book “You Can Win”, there’s a secret behind every successful man, every famous personality – which is his will power. The human mind is so strong that it has made the implausible into plausible. Impossible actually is “I’m possible” so there is no giving up in life. With this ideal belief the Wright Brothers made the impossible possible – they designed the plane when others made fun of their impossible idea and thought that they were mad.
Even the world famous Colonel Harland David Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Empire, lived through many harsh conditions in his life. He thought his life was over and was going to commit suicide when he realized that he was very good at cooking chicken; that thought changed and also saved his life. He started selling his chicken door to door in Kentucky and slowly time changed his life, it changed his fortune. So my last recommendation is that always look at the bright side of life, this will satisfy you and make you happy. It will also help you strive and complete you dreams.
Let us conclude on the famous quote of Sarah Brightman, “I think of myself not just as a dreamer, but as a dream chaser.” So I quote to all the dreamers around the globe – chase success until you accomplish it.
